Petty Wood provides comprehensive sales coverage for brands. With a growing team of 45 dedicated sales staff, we cover the UK and ROI. We also have a rapidly developing export business, covering Europe to the Middle and Far East. Our multiples sales force is fully blue chip trained. Our depth of coverage across wholesale, cash & carry, convenience and impulse sectors provides the competitive advantage needed to drive penetration of premium brands. This is supported by direct coverage of over 2000 independent outlets across the UK and ROI. This push and pull strategy is replicated across the foodservice channel where we deal with wholesalers and end users.
We have a first class team of brand managers capable of developing effective brand strategies. They can manage all elements of a brand's P&L account, advertising and promotional spend and the entire marketing mix. The trade marketing team develops brochures, sales aids and brand communications in house.

Our supply chain incorporates people, technology, activities, information and resources. All of these form an integral part of moving our and our brand principals' products from supplier to customer. This includes all logistics management activities, as well as co-ordinating processes and activities with and across marketing, sales, finance and information technology.
Our stock management team is at the forefront of the supply chain and has the responsibility of maintaining Petty Wood's stock availabilty to meet our customers' needs and that of the business.
We have a dedicated team who are able to process orders by fax, e-mail, EDI and telephone.
Our 60,000 sq/ft warehouse is a high quality, food standard warehouse with the capacity to store in excess of 5,000 pallets. We have 12 loading doors, 11 of which are 'dock levellers', allowing the safe transfer of goods. The last is accessed via a gradual slope, giving the team the ability to load and off-load from ground level.

Container stuffing and de-stuffing
Palletised consignments - our distribution network for palletised goods is made up of strategically placed third party hauliers, many of whom have been working in partnership with Petty Wood for many years.
Non-palletised consignments - this is a new area of distribution for Petty Wood and has been put into place to service smaller orders.
Export - we have a number of freight forwarder partnerships that have access to many European and worldwide hauliers, providing us with a good infrastructure to support the export market.
