About Us
With over 200 years of experience trading in the UK Food and Drink Industry, Petty Wood has built a reputation for successfully managing some of the most recognised and sought after brands in the Country.
With national distribution and a range of over 2000 products, we offer a diverse portfolio of ambient brands along with a multi-channel market coverage that is without equal within the industry. Our experienced commercial team are able to create clear results driven business plans that are then comprehensively implemented by our sales team throughout every channel within the business. Brand building is at the heart of everything we do and activating trade initiatives, both at head office and store level is where we excel.
This is supported by a very strong operational and logistics platform at our 100,000 sq ft warehousing facility in Hampshire. In addition, our in-house creative studio in London ensures we can command a unique position of total supply chain solution provider for our brand owners.
Brand Building
The DNA of our business is to grow and develop brands. We exclusively operate a portfolio of brands in the UK including some that we own. Our primary role is to identify and create an in-market strategy and implementation plan. This is then managed through our extensive sales and commercial resource of over 50 people and covers a multi-channel customer base. This includes agreeing trade marketing activities and promotional strategies for each brand.
Food Innovation
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about seeking out future trends and bringing new ideas to market. With in-house creative we can offer the speed and agility necessary to help brands design solutions to optimise their position in the UK market.
Consolidation and Logistics
The business operates a national multi-site logistics platform with warehousing capacity of over 10,000 pallets with the primary location being its 100,000 square foot head office facility in Hampshire. Our ability to carry significant amounts of stock cover enables us to provide our customers with excellent availability and our brand owners an efficient and de-risked route to market. Our market reach is without equal as we supply everything from full multi-pallet deliveries to major supermarket distribution centres through to consolidated small order solutions for thousands of independent retailers.
Trade Shows and Events
As a brand owner Petty Wood is well placed to be able to help activate brands at trade shows and events. We have exhibited at numerous Trade Shows in the UK and around the world. As we have an in-house creative team we are able to design, build and operate bespoke and effective trade and consumer events in order to showcase brands.
