The Award Winning Urban Noodle

Our very own Urban Noodle brand took top honours at The Grocer New Product Awards 2016, with the Satay variant scooping Best Ambient Ready Meal.

Voted best new product in the category by a consumer panel, Urban Noodle Satay was heralded as “scrummy, delicious and authentic”, with a product that “tastes like street food” delivering strongly on the brand’s innovative positioning.

The results of the panel, managed by leading research group Cambridge Market Research, reported that nearly 40% of consumers said Urban Noodle was better than what was already on the fixture, over 40% declaring they would consider buying the product on a regular basis.

Our Group Brands team are now busy with new flavour ideas and a new website and social media platform to turn an award winning brand into a market leading brand.
