Authentic Mexican Food

Through travelling, James was inspired by the unique and authentic tastes he experienced, and brought them to home soil through the launch of Discovery Foods. In February 2007, Discovery Foods brought in a new partner, Santa Maria, a large, family owned Swedish business with expertise in spices and seasonings as well as a large producer of tortillas.

 

Although no longer a 'small family-business', the philosophy of delivering excellent products and service to all of our customers and suppliers remains exactly the same. When it comes to the products, authenticity and richness is everything. So Discovery continually searches for good quality, well-sourced ingredients and recipes that inspire the consumer.

 

When Discovery Foods started in 1989, there were just three original-recipe sauces and the tortillas and tortilla chips were imported from Mexican food companies in California.

 

Today, Discovery Foods manufactures a full range of delicious Mexican products, selling:-

Dinner Kits – a great entry into Mexican food

Tortillas & Seasonings – to make your own delicious fajitas, burritos or tacos

Sauces – For chilli, fajitas, enchiladas and other dishes

Accompaniments such as jalapeno peppers, refried beans, salsas, soured cream and guacamole
