Company History

The Petty, Wood partnership was established in 1816.  Subsequently Mr Petty left and Mr Wood was joined  by his 2 cousins.  In 1879 the business was relocated to new premises at 41/57 Southwark Bridge Road, London. This capital location became the distribution and packing centre for teas and dried fruits along with other products, as well as the production facility for jams, honey, ginger and chutney.
